They&#8217;ve got to pay a 2\/3 billion dollar fine and, get this, give the source code to Windows to their competitors.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve often wondered why Microsoft just doesn&#8217;t take their ball and go home.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s to stop them from saying &#8220;OK, EU, we get it. You don&#8217;t like capitalism. We&#8217;ll leave then. Effective immediately, all licenses for all Microsoft products in use in the EU are revoked.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>If they don&#8217;t want Microsoft products, then why should Microsoft sell and support them in Europe? Are they really making so much money over there that they can&#8217;t afford to abandon the market?
